On February 20, the Government of Nova Scotia announced that heavy rains have caused roads to flood in several areas of the province.

Local State of emergency declared in Newfoundland town due to water line break

On February 20, CBC reported that a town in eastern Newfoundland declared a state of emergency after the community’s main water line broke.
