From WaterISAC March e-Newsletter

Drinking water and wastewater utilities that serve fewer than 50,000 people qualify for one free trial subscription to WaterISAC Pro for the remainder of 2009.

Through e-mail and a secure Internet portal, WaterISAC Pro provides drinking water and wastewater utility managers with the information they need to make informed decisions about security and to target resources to protect infrastructure, public health and the environment.

Utilities that sign up for the WaterISAC Pro level of service will gain access to more than 2,000 publications and databases on emergency response; physical, cyber and insider threats; disaster preparedness; chemical/biological agents; and guidance and lessons learned.

Authorized by Congress and created by utility managers, WaterISAC is a not-for-profit organization governed by utility representatives appointed by AWWA, WEF, NRWA, NACWA, NAWC, Water Research Foundation, WERF, and AMWA, as well as a state water administrator from ASDWA.
