Federal and New Brunswick governments announce joint investment for infrastructure projects

On August 18, Veterans Affairs Minister Greg Thompson and New Brunswick Minister of Finance Greg Byrne announced on behalf of their respective governments the joint investment for infrastructure projects for the communities of Harvey and McAdam in the southwest region of the province. Mr. Thompson indicated that the funding will be used to upgrade water and wastewater systems and to restore village property. The federal and provincial governments will each invest $294,043 for two projects in Harvey and for one in McAdam. The respective municipalities will fund the remaining costs.
